Our local neighbourhood officers called into to see the children today as part of road safety week. We found out about wearing our seatbelt and crossing the road safely. We practised shouting 'help' if we were in danger. We found out about how they use walkie talkies and their night time orange torches. The children were full of chat about burglars and jail. We heard how hand cuffs work too. At the end we all got to sit in the police jeep and try out the flashing lights and sirens.
