The children in our class have developed some lovely little friendships. Having a friend is such a joy. Someone to play with, chat to and have some fun. But most importantly friends help us as we learn and do our Nursery work. In Nursery we also learn how to make friends, keep our friends and be good friends. We praise the children when they make good choices about sharing, waiting and taking turns. We also encourage the children to use kind words such as please and thank you. But as we all know sometimes things go wrong. We encourage the children to use kind hands and kind feet when they play with their friends. Sometimes, to support children's understanding, we read stories about good behaviour choices.
