Nursery Pumpkin Patch

The children enjoyed lifting and moving the pumpkins around the nursery garden. We talked about the different shapes, sizes and colours. The children talked about how heavy the pumpkins were and also chased the pumpkins as they rolled down the hill! The children have developed their hand eye coordination as they hammer golf tees into the pumpkins and strengthen their hand muscles as they pull them out. Watch out for more pumpkin scooping and carving later this week!
