Physical Play in Our Covered Area

During the week our children have many opportunities to participate in physical play in our covered area.
We are exploring our theme of Winter and we have enjoyed climbing snow topped mountains on the climbing frame. At the North Pole Cafe Joe has been making Pavlova, James has been making ice cubes in our America Fridge (and waiting patiently til they are frozen!), Ben and Edvardas have been making pancakes and Harley made some lovely coffee for Mrs. Greenaway to keep her warm. There's been time to read and make music on our adventures and also some mark making too. If you look carefully you will see Sofia, Caolan and Leja pretending to be beautiful penguins hopping from iceberg to iceberg. And if you look really closely you will see that Sofia and Leja can even fly!
