Here is some information on developing Fine Motor Skills, that is developing skills in hands and fingers - for developing early skills such as writing, using scissors and hand strength. Also Gross Motor Skills, that is developing balance and cordination - the control of whole body movements are linked to developing numeracy and literacy skills.
