Our school ethos states that Dungannon Nursery School aims to provide a stimulating learning environment, both indoors and outdoors were all children feel valued, safe and secure. The dedicated staff team will provide a high quality preschool curriculum which will consider the differing needs of the children in our care.

We aim to provide a positive, child-centred ethos based on excellent relationships at all levels within a happy, relaxed and homely atmosphere. The staff strive to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment throughout the nursery where the individuality of each child is recognised and valued.

In partnership with the parents, staff members respond to the children’s immediate and evolving needs, promoting a sound sense of wellbeing within each child in order to build the foundations for life. The staff of Dungannon Nursery School continue to provide opportunities for children to explore and experiment with a wide variety of materials and experiences with in a warm and safe learning environment. We encourage and foster the children’s learning and development in a sensitive and supportive way whilst giving them a degree of self-confidence and independence.
